Can you believe these toadstools are made from tires? This might be one of the best recycling out door projects I have seen yet! I think you’ll be surprised at just how easy these are to make – provided you have the tree trunks and tires laying around of course!

Material used:
Vinyl table cloth
Scissors
Screw driver
Tyre
Scrap piece of circular plywood
Sofa cushion
Staple gun
Tree trunk
Spay adhesive glue

How to:

The first thing you need to do is attach the piece of plywood to the tire. I did this by screwing the plywood to the edges of the top of the tire using the electric screw driver. I screwed in 8 screws around the plywood to ensure it was secure.

Next I placed the tree trunk to the center of the plywood and tire and screwed directly into the stump. This was to attach the trunk to the tire.

To the top of the plywood I added the sofa cushion. I spray painted adhesive glue to keep the cushion in place.

Cut your fabric to the size needed to cover the entire cushion with some extra to staple in place.  Next lay out fabric upside down and place toadstool upside down.

Tug the fabric round the tire, fold and staple with staple gun. Keep doing this until you have a completely covered tire.

And thats it! I recommend to people who are gonna try this to use heavy duty vinyl I couldn’t afford it at this time so I just used a cheap dollar store table cloth and they don’t hold up under little bums
