To make this beautiful pouf, you will need a painter’s bucket, 120 feet of sisal rope, a bag of microfiber towels, small drawer knobs, cardboard, curtains or fabric, Velcro, a glue gun, staple gun, X-Acto knife, and scissors.
The first step is to remove the handle from the bucket and neatly glue the rope to the bucket in a circular motion. It is important that the lines are uniform so the color of the bucket is not visible.
Next create a lid by tracing the bucket on cardboard. Then use the piece of cardboard to trace a circle on fabric and cut.
Using an X-Acto knife, puncture a hole in the middle of the cardboard for your drawer knob.
Screw the knob through the fabric and cardboard.
Next, fold, wrap, and glue the microfiber towel under the fabric. Then staple the fabric to the other side. This will secure the microfiber towel.
Trace another piece of fabric and glue to the cardboard side that is exposed.
Apply self-adhesive Velcro to the bottom of the bucket and the bottom of the lid. Now attach.
Absolutely fabulous!
