These bracelets are so colorful and fun to make and wear, for both boys and girls! You can make these rainbow bracelets after dying your pasta.

What You’ll Need

  • pipe cleaners
  • pasta
  • pony beads
  • containers (to sort beads)

Messiness: Low  Age Range: 2y – 9y  Estimated Time: <1 hour

How We Did It

Sort the beads by color and type. Along with sorting, this is also the perfect activity for talking about colors.

Start with a loop fastened at the bottom of the pipe cleaner to have an end to catch the beads as you bead.

Now the fun part: Have your kiddos bead the pipe cleaners to make their bracelets! This activity also works on fine motor skills too: fitting the beads on the pipe cleaners.

When you get about 3/4 of the way up the pipe cleaner, take the end of the pipe cleaner through the hole to latch them together and wove the excess pip cleaner through the last bead.

And there you have it: some beautiful bangles to adorn your wrist!
