Our family keeps on Easter crafting. These little chicks are ideal to make together with kids. If you like you can also decorate them with feathers or sequins for example. Let your imagination run wild!
We used styrofoam eggs, barbecue sticks, hobby paint, a brush, plastic eyes, glue and plastic chicken beaks (you could make paper beaks as well).
Start by pinning the egg on a barbecue stick, paint with hobby paint and allow to dry.
Stick the beak in the middle of the egg and glue the eyes in place.
If you like to be able to hang your chickens, tie a thread around a pin and insert it to the top of the styrofoam egg.
Hang your Easter chicks in a witch hazel and enjoy them!!!!
