I’ve had this set of wood bangles in my jewelry box for a while now but I haven’t been getting much use out of them. In the spirit of upcycling, I wanted to give them a makeover so colorful graphic designs were in their near future. This is one of those projects where you can really get creative and customize your pattern and color scheme.

Supplies:

  • Wood bangles
  • Acrylic paint
  • Painter’s tape
  • Paint brush

Step 1: Cut a pattern out of the painter’s tape.

Step 2: Place cut pattern onto the cuff.

Step 3: Paint the outside of the bangles. Let dry, then peal off tape.

Step 4: Paint the inside of your bangle. Let dry.

Freehand stripes on your second bangle.

Let dry. Done!
