I had some new herbs for my garden but no available potting space. I had an adorable, yet old and rusty watering can that I just couldn’t bear to throw away. Cue a fun garden project to keep me occupied for the afternoon.

To make the pot, I simply drilled two small holes for drainage in the base of the watering can (I actually asked my house mate to do this step for me because I don’t know how to use a drill. It’s on my list of things to learn).

Then I filled the pot with soil and some chives.

Easy! I love recycling old things and turning them into something new.
